Notes: addressing the opposing viewpoint

For those of you who missed the notes:

The rebuttal, whether you add it to the supporting ideas or address it alone in its own paragraph, should have the following:

--a transition that signals you are looking at the opposing viewpoint ("On the other hand," people who do not agree with me might suggest", "Not everyone is in favor of our suggestion," are some examples)
--identify the counterclaim or opposing idea
--identify a weakness in the counterclaim and explain that weakness OR
--explain how the problem identified in the counterclaim can be resolved
