J. Kidwell: Welcome! Message to Parents and Guardians: Thank you for your trust in placing your child in my classroom the next few months. I intend to honor your trust, and help my students partake of a learning experience that they will find memorable and valuable. During this course, students will read a wide range of material, and respond to it. They will also write to demonstrate learning, and write for publication purposes. Students will also be encouraged to use technology for publication purposes. To be 21st century employees or entrepreneurs, students need to be strong readers, and communicators. I want to do my part in helping them be prepared for their post-high school journey. The syllabus and curriculum are posted on the blog; my overall goal is that each student will be aware of and demonstrate a year’s worth of academic growth. I look forward to working with your child.
