McCandless Search

As we have become familiar with Christopher McCandless, we have asked a number of questions about his personality and his experiences.  For each of the sources listed, complete the following:

a) Record the author, title, publication, and date.  We will use this for our Works Cited list later.
b) Comment on the appropriateness of the source.  How do you know the source is valid?  * Hint--one of the sources is not the most legitimate.  It is your job to figure out why.
c) Per source, list 5-10 details that help you understand McCandless and his adventures.

d) If you aren't sure what information is worth recording,  use, refer to this list of questions we compiled in class:

How long was his adventure?
What did he do to survive when he was away from home?
What about his parents--what did they do?
How did he stay determined?
What was the belt about?
Where did the idea for his adventure come from?
Did he know he was going to die?
Why did he burn his stuff?
What friends did he make?
How did his family feel about it?
Was he mentally unstable?
Who did he notify about the trip?
Did he expect to survive Alaska?
Was he mentally unstable?
